Excitement is growing for the release of Lal Salaam, the much-anticipated film directed by Aishwarya Rajinikanth and starring the legendary Rajinikanth himself. A new poster has been revealed, announcing that the film will hit theaters during the Pongal festival in January 2024. Rajinikanth completed shooting for his daughter Aishwarya Rajinikanth’s directorial venture Lal Salaam earlier this year and fans are eagerly waiting for the film’s release. The film stars Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth in the lead roles and has a cameo appearance by former cricketer Kapil Dev. The new poster has a striking red color palette and depicts Rajinikanth standing in front of a vintage car on a cricket field.

Lal Salaam is produced by Lyca Productions and presented by A Subaskaran. The film will be released in multiple languages including Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada. The plot of Lal Salaam revolves around friendship and cricket, with Rajinikanth playing the role of Moideen Bhai. In particular, this film marks the first collaboration of A.R. Rahman with director Aishwarya Rajinikanth, Vishnu and Vikranth, as he handled the music and background score.
